What do you actually care about?
You have to have a purpose and a mission to show up with consistency.
You have to know why.
Otherwise you won’t.
You will find that you can’t.
And it simply won’t work.
The question therefore is not what you need to do right now, in order to get things going again, but instead why would you even care?
-> Ask yourself:
🤔 What do I actually care about right now? Not what do I think I need to care about (or still care about).
Not what I would care about if I were doing it right.
But what do I actually care about, enough to talk passionately about it and show up with hunger, fervor, excitement, and a heart to help people and create change?
ASK ALSO 🖊️🙏
What is God actually calling me to in this season?
- What is the inner tug, pull, yearning or conviction?
- What just won’t go away?
- What excites me, and brings a leap in my spirit?
- What feels energising in a grounded way, even if it’s also daunting or I don’t know how?
- What do I just know it now is?
- What do I know it is not, or no longer?
- What do I hear + see in the still + quiet?
- What am I still clinging to a thing here to be part of my identity when, if it were supernaturally surgically removed, I’d be SO FREAKING RELIEVED?
👊💃🏼 Now look back at all your answers.
What you care about + actually would be interested in showing up for.
And what you know + see you are being called forward in right now.
You can write them down two columns.
1) Actually care about know I WILL do
2) Am called to/ towards
🤔🔥 Now look at what intersects between the two.
• What are the patterns?
• What new ideas spring forth as you look at the answers?
• What goes with what?
• What else do you see?
• Where is a flicker of excitement becoming a burning flame?
• What else might this mean?
If you didn’t know the person who had written out these answers, who would you think them to be when you read them?
What would you imagine they do?
🥳🤩💃🏼 Now write them real but with full scale colour and detail.
Let your imagination run wild and have fun with it but from purpose + with serious intent because you are WRITING REAL THE NEXT / NOW BECOMING OF YOU.
🎨❤️🔥 Don’t hold back.
Invite God to cause you to dream +
see even bigger.
Don’t have vague or void bits.
WRITE THE VISION AND MAKE IT PLAIN.
This is the life it’s time for you to step into now.
It’s not going to ‘just happen’.
👊 You have to harness the life God has given you to dream about because it is also on you to choose it.
Bit by bit you will see it manifest by His
grace.
The reason you can’t seem to just get there, or be that person, (who you think or even know you should be) is that the flow + overflow build by stepping forward first into the smallest bit at current.
By picking up the tiniest thread.
And bit by bit a teeny wave of momentum becomes a flowing river,
a rushing stream,
a roaring ocean,
and the overflow of the Lord working through you because and again (or finally!) you just said yes,
to the thing which is actually right now a yes,
and yours.
The thing you’ve been waiting on perhaps is to realise you do nees to mer that not only be enough,
but also to realise it is indeed what will lead to the everything, and beyond that still,
which God has given you to now.
So RISE sister or brother.
It’s your time to be that version of you now.
